Hummus Wraps [Low fat raw vegan recipes]
My all time favorite savory recipe when I was a vegetarian were hummus wraps. I would try and stuff it as full as physically possible without the bread ripping. Drown it in hummus, pack on tomatoes, cucumbers, baby spinach, celery. This low fat raw vegan recipe I have here is much more satisfying and makes you feel much better afterwords, plus it’s amazingly delicious and simple!
- FOR THE WRAPS: Iceberg lettuce is great to use for wraps since it’s really flexible in nature, the taste is very mild, the leaves are quite large and its easily accessible.
- Spread on a generous amount of the raw vegan hummus onto your ice burg lettuce. Click for Creamy Hummus Recipe
- TO FOLD: Lay the raw sandwich goodies down the center of the tortilla, within a couple inches of the left and right edges. Fold both the right and the left edges over them and tightly roll from the bottom. You can use some of the low fat raw vegan hummus to hold the sides together better.

- Avocado (Small amounts, since it is not low fat)
- Green onion
- Bell Peppers
- Baby Spinach
- Raw Mushrooms
- Raw Asparagus
